Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information SETX Garage Door collects, why, and who sees it. SETX Garage Door is a referral website run by The Gadget Aid, LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company ("we," "us").

What we collect

When you send the request form, we collect:

  • your name
  • your phone number
  • your town
  • the service you choose
  • how soon you need help
  • any details you add in the optional note
  • that you checked the consent box, and when you sent the request

Phone calls. This site doesn't have a phone number yet. If we add one, we'll update this policy first to explain where calls go and what call details, if any, are logged.

When you visit the site, Cloudflare Web Analytics may be used to count visits and see which pages are read. It doesn't use cookies or track you across other websites. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security.

We don't ask for payment information, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.

How we use and share it

  • We share your request with one independent local garage door company so it can contact you about the job. You agree to this when you check the consent box. That company may call you about your request.
  • We keep a copy of your request to confirm referrals with that company and to handle questions or complaints.
  • Requests are delivered by email through an email service provider that handles them for us.
  • We may disclose information if the law requires it.

We don't sell your information, and we share your request only with the one company it goes to, plus the service providers above that help us deliver it.

We don't text you or send you marketing. The garage door company's own privacy practices apply to what it does with your information.

How long we keep it

We keep referral records only as long as we need them for the purposes above, including confirming referrals and handling questions, and then delete them.

Your choices

You can ask what information we have about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us not to share future requests. Email [email protected] with "Privacy request" in the subject line. That inbox reaches us, not the garage door company. If the company already has your request, contact it directly to ask it to delete your information too.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
